Explanation[edit | edit source]

This is an edit of a Laugh-Out-Loud Cats strip. For those unaware, the comic's gimmick is that it pays homage to early 20th century comics but juxtaposes 21st century slang (in this cast, LOLspeak). In the original, two cats had dressed up as humans (the text, obviously, being a pun on the term "incognito"). Here, they're dressed up as Garfield.

On another note, the author's note links to a blog post about how one Laugh-Out-Loud Cats strip may have borrowed a punchline from him. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

More from Adam Koford's Laugh-Out-Loud Cats, because I like them (and not because of a little personal feud over a borrowed punchline*), and because when they're hiding out from the authorities, how better to get in your cognito?

Original Laugh-Out-Loud Cats comic: #406, 2007-10-17
