Explanation[edit | edit source]

This is the second strip in this series, following 180: Garfield Cross Section A.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

Seemingly dadaist, this strip truly depicts the three elements of all Garfield humour: At the top, Garfield ("Oh, my, what a crazy cat! Ha ha! He likes to sleep and eat! Will he never learn?"). In the middle, two humans fighting ("Ha ha! What lovable cads are we humans! How ridiculous we can be!"). And at the bottom, one of Garfield's room-mates ("Ha ha! The people who live with that cat are slightly eccentric!").

This strip is unedited, except to remove the left and right columns of panels. I hope you understand a bit better now.

Original strip from 1982-05-09.
