Explanation[edit]

The first few strips are fairly simplistic. Here, for example, all the dialogue has been altered to fit the meter of a haiku - a traditional Japanese poem featuring five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third and last line.

The author writes:[edit]

Original strip from 2008-11-05.

Transcript[edit]

Flea: Hello, I'm a flea.
Garfield: Excuse me just a moment.
Garfield: Have we dynamite?

Later references[edit]

This comic is probably the most referenced SRoMG strip of all, being the very first one.
