Explanation[edit | edit source]

The edit is a simple enough exaggeration of the joke in the original comic, which is about Garfield wanting a large refrigerator. The title is a reference to the epithet Fridge Logic, which refers to the moment sometime after experiencing a work that an audience becomes cognizant of an issue present in a work.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

Not much to say for this one; I just like exaggerating things! Original strip from 1993-01-14.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

Garfield: I don't know, Jon.
Garfield: As refrigerators go, I guess it's okay.
Garfield: But, don't they have anything bigger? {Jon and Garfield are standing next to an enormous refrigerator}
