Explanation[edit | edit source]

In the original Garfield comic, Garfield watched a cloud that looked like a cow and it went moo then Garfield got wide-eyed. Garfield went back to Jon Arbuckle because it was a windy day. The background was blue.

In this strip, the background is from the film called Twister from 1996. Garfield watched a cow fly in the sky and got wide-eyed. Jon is now standing outside with Garfield, while the wind tossed leaves in the background. Jon saw another cow. Garfield thinked that was the other one.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

Yeah, it's been 22 years, but the statute of limitations on stolen jokes is endless.

Original strip: 2018-03-06.

Other image: from the film Twister (1996)
