Explanation[edit | edit source]

In the original comic, Garfield started out riding Odie, then suddenly, he was gone; the last panel revealed that he was caught by his mouth on a low-hanging branch.

Now, as explained, the order of the panels has been reversed; thus, Garfield's predicament has an unknown cause, and him riding away is the result of a rescue attempt by Odie.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

The only change is that the ordering of the panels has been reversed.
