Explanation[edit | edit source]

A rather simple edit: Calvin's tiger form in the original Calvin and Hobbes strip is replaced with an image of Garfield.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

This is based on the Calvin & Hobbes strip from 1987-03-28 when Calvin "transmogrified" himself into a smaller version of Hobbes.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

Hobbes: So you're a tiger now?
Calvin: Yep. Let me out.
{Hobbes lifts the corner of the box.}
{Calvin has been transformed into Garfield.}
Hobbes: Words fail me.
Calvin/Garfield: I'm disappointed too, but keep in mind transmogrification is a new technology.
