Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This strip's author's notes have been slightly reworked for this wiki to eliminate redundancy in the Garfield strip crediting, while also keeping the crediting of all the other strips coherent along with the current Garfield strip crediting system; the line stating the literary source was at the bottom of the author's notes as submitted, sandwiched between the two copies of Garfield strip credits on the current form of the Square Root of Minus Garfield strip page, and was moved to the top of the author's notes on this wiki for coherency reasons.
- Every strip link among the originally-submitted original strip credits other than mezzacotta either no longer work as originally intended or have fallen victim to paywall practices (this is even true for the Garfield link culled for redundancy elimination, that one is not detailed below):
- Peanuts, The Boondocks, Calvin and Hobbes: Paywalled due to a 2025 rework of GoComics. The Peanuts strip has been archived on its wiki on Fandom here, while smaller-sized accessible copies of the latter two can be seen as follows: The Boondocks, Calvin and Hobbes.
- Pogo, The Amazing Spider-Man: No original strip links to begin with.
- xkcd: A coding bug caused excess text to find its way into the link. As this error cannot be re-created on this wiki, the link in question has been reworked to work as originally intended.
- For Better or For Worse: A rework of that feature's official web site caused the link to lead to a broader catalog of strip links. The strip in question can be directly accessed here.
- Dilbert: No longer works as originally intended due to the Dilbert site being restructured after that strip was dropped by its syndicate amidst its cartoonist's controversies; it has been archived here.
