Explanation[edit | edit source]
This strip takes the original Garfield strip and re-frames it in a situation more accurate to that of the lion species' hunting habits; given females tending to be the hunters in lion prides, Garfield was re-colored to more resemble a female lion and what were masculine pronouns in the original Garfield strip have been switched to feminine pronouns in this strip. Jon's reaction is unchanged.
