The idea for this strip came when I found out that you could use the GIMP editor to do screenshots. The first thing I did was press F12 (on Internet Explorer, pressing that will open up a text editor, actually allowing you to alter text on a web page as well as images). I edited the heading to say "No. 1234: Screen Capture" (the title of this strip). Then, I opened up Comments on a Postcard (on a separate page) and got the "broken image" to paste onto SRoMG. I then resized that image to fit onto the page better. I then went to GIMP 2 to "File", then to "Create", then to "Screenshot" and set the timer for seven seconds (to give me enough time to get the page ready). After I got the screenshot, I copied it from GIMP and pasted it into Paint so that way it would save as a standard PNG file like I needed it to (instead of a GIMP file). I think the end result looks pretty well.
Original strip: Technically, there's no original strip. The strip was, however, made from No. 1217 (Dog-Eating Treets), which was based on the 2012-08-08 strip.
