Explanation[edit | edit source]
The author writes:[edit | edit source]
Once again, Jim shows us how original his ideas are with another repeat. Makes one wonder if Jim may be developing memory problems (he was 67 last July, so...)? Either way, this is really a repeat from 15 years apart, so this one may or may not count as an actual repeat. Your Mileage May Vary.
On a side note, the top strip was published exactly five years before another particular strip.
Original strips: 1996-11-28, 2001-11-28, 2011-04-20.

Garfield: Heck, I need an audience.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
The credit for 2001-11-28 in the current strip crediting system is presumably unintentional; that strip was not credited in the remnants of the old strip crediting system. It is presumed that the transition between crediting systems looked through the entire author's notes and not just what corresponded to the old crediting system, saw a link to the strip in the author's notes proper, and interpreted it as a strip to credit.
