Explanation[edit | edit source]

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

I called it that because it wouldn't be Garfield plus Winnie the Pooh unless it was an actual character that I added in.

Original strip: 1989-10-08.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

Garfield: {singsong} Oh, mouseeeey! Why don't you come out and see me?
Mouse: {singsong} I can see you fine from heeere.
Garfield: Get out here, mouse, or I'm coming in after you!
Mouse: Ha! You couldn't even get your fat head through the hole.
Garfield: Oh, yeah?! Well we'll just see about that, Gorgonzola lips!
{Garfield tries to squeeze his head into the hole}
Garfield: UNNNGGGHHH! ERRRGGHHHH! HUURRRRRRP!
{Garfield's head pops into the hole}
SFX: POP!
Garfield: AHA! Now where'd you go?!
Garfield: I'm stuck.
{The mouse draws something on Garfield's rear}
Garfield: What the....?!
{We see it's the face Rabbit drew on Pooh's rear in Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree}
Garfield: I think I've been had.
