Explanation[edit | edit source]
In the original, the "hamburger" was really cat food, which Jon tricked Garfield into eating. Here, the author replaced the dialogue in the third panel with instances of "An unguarded hamburger!" Garfield's second instance appears to have been shrunk to fit within his thought bubble, while Jon's was horizontally squashed.
The author writes:[edit | edit source]
