To François Caradec once again, specifically to La voie du troisème secteur (Towards the Third Domain, 1990, BO45), as described in Mathews and Brotchie's Oulipo Compendium:
- The text of this fascicle is printed in such a way that it can be read simultaneously by two readers sitting opposite one another: the contents of each left-hand page appear upside-down on the right. The author recommends adopting this method of reading as a general practice, citing as advantages:
- -for scholarly works: two students will remain at the same level from the beginning to the end of their studies;
- -for a detective novel: both readers will learn at the same moment the identity of the murderer;<br.
- -for an erotic novel: certain analogous reasons.
Original strip: 2005-01-12.
