Candle Cove is a creepypasta that takes the form of a forum discussion talking about the titular children's puppet show that briefly aired on TV in the 70s. Aside from all of the dark and disturbing content that those who saw the show remember seeing, the story ends with the implication that adults only saw static when their kids were watching the show. This strip edits the original strip to mimic this property by removing the third panel and changing the TV's dialogue in the second so that instead of showing a channel that only airs faulty TV footage, it's showing Candle Cove.
