Explanation[edit | edit source]
The author writes:[edit | edit source]
There is something hilarious about Garfield in skeleton form, not only found in a past comic , but also a more recent one . I agree with the one who said that the latter has "possibilities from this one strip are endless ".
Original strips: 1989-01-08, 2012-04-05, 2013-06-09.
Transcript[edit | edit source]
Jon: You should try thinking of others.
{Garfield thinks of a skeleton version of himself}
Jon: How's it going?
Garfield: This is going to take some time.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
The credit for 1989-01-08 in the current strip crediting system is presumably unintentional; that strip was not credited in the remnants of the old strip crediting system. It is presumed that the transition between crediting systems looked through the entire author's notes and not just what corresponded to the old crediting system, saw a link to the strip in the author's notes proper, and interpreted it as a strip to credit.
