Explanation[edit | edit source]
The original strip had Garfield singing "I'm great" and "I'm the best" over and over. This edit changes the dialogue to have him instead sing a few lines from "Ready to Party", the second opening theme of Garfield and Friends.
The author writes:[edit | edit source]
This was one of those strips where I saw it, I immediately came up with a SRMG take on it, and I said to myself, "Ok, now I have to do it".
Original strip: 2015-03-18.
Transcript[edit | edit source]
Garfield (singing): Come on in, come to the place where fun never ends!
Garfield (singing): Come on in, it's time to party with Garfield and Friends!
Garfield: My theme song
