Explanation[edit | edit source]

An Expand Dong-styled meme referencing Square Root of Minus Garfield. "Expand Dong" refers to several ransom note-styled image macros; the name came from the original example of such a macro, which was an edit of the cover art for the 1999 video game Donkey Kong 64. The majority of Expand Dong macros are NSFW; for this reason, and the policy requiring SRoMG comics to be "approximately PG-rated," the author refused to link to a page explaining the meme in more detail, while at the same time, making their entry as "safe as possible." For those who are curious, however, here's the page in question.

Which letter is which?[edit | edit source]

The following is a thorough explanation pointing out which logos correspond with which letters:

  • GARFIELD - Both times GARFIELD pops up, a Garfield logo is used
  • TO - Toy Story logo (pre-release trailer and ads)
  • CHEAP LAUGHS - Simply a sign reading "cheap laughs"

The author writes[edit | edit source]

Playing on the "Expand Dong" meme. Due to site policy on rating, I won't link to the Know Your Meme page on the meme, and I made this entry as safe as possible.
