Explanation[edit | edit source]

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

This was an idea which was originally proposed on the forums by manyhills. I had a plush Garfield and Odie during my childhood so I pulled them from storage for the first time in ages and prepared them for the photo. To make the crook in Garfield's hand, I took a wire hanger, bent it at the top into a curve, and wrapped it around his hand very tightly. To create the cloth that Garfield's wrapped around, I actually utilized two pieces of felt (since I didn't have a whole one) and placed one on each side. I then scattered papers all over the corner of the room and stacked a few notebooks on top of each other to have something to prop Garfield against. After tweaking Odie's neck into the proper position, I then shot the photo and imported it to GIMP where I did the final touch-up work by converting it to black-and-white and giving it the appearance of an old-timey photo. Et voilà!

Transcript[edit | edit source]

{Garfield and Odie are in a room, strewn with papers. Garfield holds a crook and is wrapped in felt.}
