Explanation[edit | edit source]

The author's notes tend to explain this strip's premise, essentially presenting a Garfield scenario in the style of another comic strip. The strip's title is a mashup of Garfield and The Family Circus.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

If you ever wondered what Garfield might look like if it were presented in the format of The Family Circus (and you weren't willing to accept Heathcliff as an answer for being too aggressively whimsical), well, now you know.

Original strip: 2016-08-27.
