After discovering this strip, I immediately decided to learn about the origins of yarn.

Unfortunately, the closest thing I could find was the earliest root of the English word "yarn" that meant "yarn" in its language. That language would be Proto-Germanic. Unfortunately for that, it can only be reconstructed with what we know...
