Explanation[edit | edit source]

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

Based on SRoMG comics #721, #744, and #1025. When I saw the word "peanuts" in the original strip, I knew I had to do something Peanuts-related with it. It was either this or "Linus, did you eat the frozen pudding pops?". I chose this idea because (1) it'd be easier to make, (2) it'd be funnier, and (3) the other idea wouldn't get past the buffer.

Original Peanuts strip: 1950-10-02.

Original strips: 2018-07-06, 2018-07-10, 2018-07-19.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

Jon: Garfield, did you plagiarize Peanuts?
Garfield: Well! Here comes ol' Charlie Brown!
Jon: You'll get us cancelled
Garfield: How I hate him!
