Explanation[edit | edit source]

This is a reference to the Garfield and Friends episode, "National Tapioca Pudding Day". It's a U.S. Acres segment about Roy inventing a fake holiday called National Tapioca Pudding Day, where you give your friends boxes of tapioca pudding. I guess Garfield and Odie were celebrating it.

Original strips: 2011-09-10, 2011-09-21.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

Jon: I don't know how to tell you, Garfield...
Jon: But cats are supposed to be clean animals
Garfield: Not during National Tapioca Pudding Day!
