3785: The World is Shrinking
The World is Shrinking |
Made by: Wibi |
Explanation[edit | edit source]
This strip takes 2362: Obviously, which already reversed the original Garfield strip's key joke, and shrinks the second and third panels so that it appears that Garfield's world is literally shrinking. Garfield's dialogue in the second panel, as well as both of the first two paragraphs in the author's notes, are also cut off to punctuate the strip's point (the third paragraph is programmed by the site's code to display any original Garfield strip credit, and thus couldn't be shortened to punctuate this strip's joke), and the third panel no longer has room for any dialogue (unlike in the original Garfield strip and in SRoMG #2362).
The credit to the Square Root of Minus Garfield visibly mispresents itself as a credit to 2632: Garfiend Folio; the link itself leads to the correct earlier Square Root of Minus Garfield strip.
