Reassembly language

Explanation[edit | edit source]

In the original, Garfield's appearance is simply that he looks more groggy as you go back toward the beginning of the strip. The original dialogue was the same as in this edit's inspiration, No. 3183: My Least Inspired Idea Yet. The specific inspiration is a mistake that was originally in that edit's transcript, and preserved in the editor's note, where the author had typed "reassemble" instead of "resemble".

This edit's images contain finer granularity than #3183's, and also apply the graphical processing to the thought bubbles.

The title is a reference to assembly language.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

In response to #3183.

Original strip: 2017-07-24.
