Explanation

This strip essentially subjects the debut Jon strip to the Garfield Minus Garfield treatment with both instances of "Garfield" switched to "Jon" to reflect the source strip's title; as such, Jon has been eliminated from the strip, Garfield's dialogue in the first panel tweaked, and Garfield's dialogue in the second panel eliminated.
