Explanation[edit | edit source]

This "strip", if you can even call it that, is a clear attempt at a trend of one-upping in a trend of intentional lazy edits designed to lampoon lazy edits. It even goes as far as to one-up 4897: Going deeper into lack of effort, the strip that ran only the day before and had seemingly been the culmination of that trend. As such, this "strip" consists of nothing but blank pixels in an effort to look like no effort at all had been put into the "strip"; this strip ultimately proves to be the culmination of a running gag that had been unwittingly started by 2193: All You Need is Me.

Interestingly enough, this isn't the first time a submission consisted of nothing but blank space in the strip area; 293: i and 3181: SCPField also each have a content-free strip, but the former strip was designed as a joke surrounding a non-existent date, the latter was a joke designed around sanitization of comic strips, and both had author's notes written to punctuate their intended jokes.
