Explanation

This is the ninth installment of the Garfield Numerosity series, based on the Numerosity series from Sesame Street. This comic adapts the ninth film, which centers around the number 9. That film ended with the baker carrying 9 coconut custard pies, but that scene isn't adapted. Here's each panel of the comic in order:

• 9 noodles: This panel uses an image of Garfield laying face down in a lasagna tray, with 9 noodles present.
• 9 nails: This panel uses an unknown comic panel showing Garfield, a mallet, and 9 nails embedded in the table. The author's notes misattribute the original strip as being the 2003-03-10 one.
• 9 lights: This panel uses a panel from a comic (1995-12-17) where Garfield makes Jon into a tourist attraction after he falls off a ladder and gets tangled in Christmas lights. Most of the original panel is cropped out, leaving only Jon's face, with the portion of the lights wrapped around his face displaying 9 bulbs.
• 9 mice: This panel uses the cover panel of the 2006-01-15 strip, which features 9 mice on podiums spelling out the title of the comic. Garfield is cropped out of the panel, leaving only the mice.
• 9 quarters: This panel uses an image of Garfield holding a quarter. 8 more are shown underneath him, making 9.

Based on a Numerosity segment from Sesame Street, it counts five different sets of features.

I couldn't find any noodles, but I found the lasagna with nine pastas.
