Explanation[edit | edit source]
As the strip's title states, this strip essentially shows the solution to the puzzle posed in 768: Yecch!.
It is unknown how long this strip took to get through the queue, but it is highly unlikely to be the twelve and a half years implied by the editor's note; that time period more accurately describes the time period between the publishing of #768 and this strip. The author's notes proper state that the author used Paint on Windows 10, the latter of which was first available in late July 2015; by that point in time (and assuming the author's recollection is indeed correct), this very wiki's article about #768 had already been written, complete with solution. This strip's author may have been unaware this wiki even existed, thus justifying the creation of this strip; Nyperold nonetheless chewed out the author in a topic on the Irregular Webcomic! forums over not knowing the solution had long already been available.
The author writes:[edit | edit source]
This took me a while to figure out. also, it took me a while to do in paint on Windows 10.
[Sorry if you'd been wondering about this for twelve-and-a-half years. -Ed]
