Explanation[edit | edit source]

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

There are no author notes for this strip, and you're not reading them. The strip itself wasn't submitted to the site either, so I have no idea where you're getting all this semantic content from. Unless some of the information here is intentionally incorrect - but who would ever do something like that?

BONUS STRIP: More stereotypes = more fun

I submitted this strip, then realised Jon's hair can be cropped, copied, and rotated to produce the perfect stereotypical student goatee - eat viola, here he is in all his now be-bearded glory(?).

With thanks to SRoMG #2302 for the nicely-saturated version of the original strip.

Original strip: 2015-02-03.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

{Jon is holding a piece of paper, and looking smug}
Jon: I'm taking a test, Garfield!
Jon {reading from page, enthusiastically}: "Solve for case: A = !A"
{Jon has turned to leave, in disgust}
Jon: Garfield, this is awful
Garfield: Where are my crayons?
