Explanation[edit | edit source]

The strip features a random guy asking for directions to Cincinnati. Garfield points him in a direction, but then realizes—too late—that the man is unknowingly heading toward Ohio, prompting Garfield to react with an ominous "oh no".

The comic humorously plays on the idea that Ohio has an unusual reputation, referencing the absurdity of its geography and the strange occurrences often associated with it.
