Explanation[edit | edit source]
n this strip, Garfield stands there with a huge grin on his face while simply declaring, "I'm not in a mood." The comic plays with the idea of emotional ambiguity—Garfield's expression contradicts his words, making it unclear what he's actually feeling.
The author explains that the inspiration and dialogue for this strip come from an episode of Ojamajo Doremi Dokkan! (episode 33), in which the character Onpu auditions for a movie but doesn't get the part.
