Explanation[edit | edit source]

In this strip, Jon introduces himself and Garfield, stating that they are "laid-back." Garfield, however, skeptically remarks that this attitude won’t last long. The comic then jumps 6,000 years into the future, where Jon is seen declaring, "No one's going to steal MY brain!" Garfield, now ancient, reflects that he somehow predicted this outcome long ago.
