Explanation[edit | edit source]
This strip riffs at the effort of intentional lazy edits designed to lampoon lazy edits; it depicts Garfield at a laptop computer having somehow gained access to the Square Root of Minus Garfield strip queue and sees a folder therein labeled "lazy edits"--a reference to the "intentional lazy edits" trend that had recently snowballed out of control (this was the tenth consecutive strip related to that trend--all of which were put into the strip buffer simultaneously--and fourteenth in the trend in just the 5900s block of strips--roughly as much of the trend fell in the 5900s block than it did in the entire history of Square Root of Minus Garfield prior). Garfield is shown deleting that folder and correctly entering the password (revealed in the author's notes), implying that Manyhills would thank Garfield for what the latter had just done.
The author's notes imply that the "intentional lazy edits" trend has come to an end, and acting as if the strip itself had somehow been deleted in the process of the presentation; only time will tell if the trend of "intentional lazy edits" has truly met its end.
The author writes:[edit | edit source]
Garfield has finally put an end to the low effort strips. Everyone can live in peace.
(P.S. the password was LaZyFoReVeR)
(the editing in this strip was, ironically, lazy. I think he deleted this stri-) [STRIP DELETED]

Trivia[edit | edit source]
The author's notes as coded have five blank lines between the line containing the password and the line talking about the strip's editing; these lines do not render on Square Root of Minus Garfield itself, but would render on this very wiki, thus the author's notes were modified for this wiki's presentation to better fit the visual presentation on Square Root of Minus Garfield itself.
