Explanation[edit | edit source]
This strip is part of an effort of intentional lazy edits designed to lampoon lazy edits; it essentially is the original Garfield strip with the legal lingo between panels, Jim Davis's signature, and the date next to the signature removed without any other alterations. The strip proper itself does not allude to the "intentional lazy edit" trend; the author's notes is what makes the reference to the trend, given a number of strips in the trend make reference to the amount of time necessary to make the edits.

I think I did it in about 30-45 seconds. All I did was remove the meta text.
