Explanation[edit | edit source]

This strip riffs at the effort of intentional lazy edits designed to lampoon lazy edits; it constructed the dialogue setup of 2553: Tener Cuidado Con Lo Que Deseas in a manner described in the author's notes.

"Every single lazy edit comic ever made", even considering the presumption of being submitted shortly after 5962: Inhumanly lazy Garfield ran (#5962 is the most recent strip credited), is a debatable definition depending on what one accepts as being part of the "intentional lazy edit" trend; #2290 is not included despite being a key cornerstone strip of the trend, whereas #3621 is included despite not appearing to have been made with the trend in mind. (The omission of the two content-free strips part of the "intentional lazy edit" trend at the time of submission is far more understandable, as those "strips" would not visually contribute anything.)

5961: Screenshot 135906.png is both used and credited twice.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

After seeing all of the attempts at maximum lazy acquisition, I laughed. These amateurs, I thought to myself. This is not the optimum quantity of lazy. This is not maximum lazy.

So I decided to demonstrate the ultimate possible quantity of lazy.

It's simple, really. If you combine every single lazy edit comic ever made - and a few memes for good measure - your comic will inherit the laziness of every single one of those comics. And so, therefore, my edit is the single laziest edit on this website.

And no, you won't be able to get lazier by cropping this comic. Remember, then you'd only be using THAT comic, and therefore it would be less lazy than thirty-two lazy comics.
