This strip follows up on 2353: Discredited Memes, with each of the six panels to the left side of the strip each involving part of a Square Root of Minus Garfield running gag falling back on their old habits; upper left has Jon again gluing a blender to his face (it is presumed elements from the strip that ran the day before the corresponding original Garfield strip were added to this panel), then Garfield announces a revival of "Garfield's Horror Theater", then Garfield failing to resist an urge to kill Odie, then Garfield coming up with an idea for a "Changefield" gag, then Garfield having come back to eat Jon's donut, and then Garfield returning to the guacamole bowl to apparently step into it after all. A new seventh panel, not corresponding to any in #2353, invokes the "constantly changing"/"pudding pops" gag and refers to the original attempt to curb that gag, 625: Garfield Skynet Garfield: Judgment Day.
This strip's submission timeframe is unknown; as a result, it may have been created and submitted before the "lazy edit" trend got out of control in the middle parts of 2025, thus justifying that gag's non-inclusion in this strip.
