Explanation[edit | edit source]

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

I don't know what it is, but there's something particularly fun and satisfying about doing comics that centre around Odie. Especially when it involves making him as sinister as possible.

Admin note: This strip was submitted just after the previous strip, and oddly enough uses an original strip published just four days earlier. And like yesterday's Square Root of Minus Garfield, this one is also about Odie being more sinister than usually credited. Have our authors spotted a disturbing pattern?

Original strip: 2010-11-20.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

{Odie smiling evilly}
Garfield: I wonder if Odie is up to no good.
{Odie puts on an innocent slobbery face}
Garfield: Dogs are so hard to read.
Odie: I will kill you in your sleep... {smiles evilly again}
