Explanation[edit | edit source]
This comic uses the first two panels of the first strip featuring Lyman, in which he went on to beg to stay with Jon, with Jon welcoming him to do so (and Garfield setting a boundary).
The third panel is an edit of the strip in which Jon asked if Lyman just had the one suitcase, which proceeded with Lyman calling in his dog, whose name would soon be revealed to be Odie. Here, Jon has been removed, as well as his and Lyman's speech balloons. Lyman has been flipped to face the door, and his head angle adjusted to regard the Creeper, iconic enemy from the video game Minecraft.
Its hissing, signaling that it will soon explode, comes from a strip in which Jon, his father, and Garfield are hanging out at a fence when the father spits out some chewing tobacco. Jon seems to disapprove, but the father says, "A good chew never hurt nobody" as Garfield also spits some out. This latter spitting is where the "SSS" comes from; it was originally followed by a "T".
The final panel is from a strip in which Lyman tested if it hurts to rub a cat the wrong way. The answer was "Yes"; this answer was removed and replaced with "Creeper".

In movies and TV shows, it always really bugs me when characters go into a house or apartment and don't close the front door behind them. This could happen!
