Ed: Adding the all-time classic double-entendre punchline was enough for me to consider whether this submission fit within the PG-rated purview of this site. The presence of a strip with an even more suggestive use of the same punchline in the same e-mail may have made me more inclined to include this one after rejecting the other one. The author has stated he will post the rejected strip in the (slightly more permissive) forums instead. Look for it there...

The below is the rejected alternative to the strip that ran:
- The strip that actually ran on Square Root of Minus Garfield appears to only make usage of material from the 2009-07-28 Garfield strip; the rejected alternative strip is the one that made use of 1995-03-16 material. Both strips are fully credited, in both the old and current strip crediting systems (only the latter is recreated on this wiki to avoid redundancy), despite each original Garfield strip contributing to one of the two submitted strip variations.
