Explanation[edit | edit source]

"Happiness is a Warm Puppy" is a book from 1962 by the late Charles Schulz, cartoonist of the Peanuts comic strip. The book contained pages of various single colors, the left page having some sort of assertion about what happiness is, and the right page having a black illustrative image. Here, the author has taken the last panel of an early Garfield strip and simulated it being put in the same kind of book. The word "television" is abbreviated to "TV" in this edit.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

I remembered this comic from a while back, so I thought why not mash it up with the Peanuts "Happiness Is A..." books?
Original strip from 1978-06-23.
