Explanation[edit | edit source]

This title is a palindrome to the site right there. In the original comic, Jon planned to have some of that lasagna, but Garfield ate the entire thing. What a selfish cat Garfield is. Garfield wants Jon to smell his breath.

In this version of the strip, Garfield's original line has been replaced by the perfect line that has been turned into a palindrome. I think that last line is perfect for Garfield, don't you think? The palindrome in question comes from "Weird Al" Yankovic's song "Bob", previously used for the palindromes in #33: Garfield's D-Leif Rag.

The author said to no one in particular that he should turn this into a SRoMG, so he did. He was looking for palindromes and the word "lasagna" caught his eye. The author guesses you can really do anything to put your mind to.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

I was looking up palindromes and one that contained the word lasagna caught my eye. I said to no one in particular, "I should turn this into a SRoMG." So I did. I guess you really can do anything you put your mind to.

Original strip: 2007-05-19.

Transcript[edit | edit source]
