Explanation[edit | edit source]

This strip makes reference to the CGI-animated Disney film Frozen. Apparently, this Garfield is anxious that it's stopped being shown in theaters. Maybe he hasn't seen it yet, and wants the theater experience.

Elsa and Olaf -- both of whose names are used for puns -- are the main character's sister and a snowman, respectively.

The author also refers to the other usual aspects of a "Constantly Changing" strip in saying that he didn't change Garfield (or Jon) into anyone or anything else, or even use a different Garfield era's model, but he did change Garfield's concern to something else.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

No, I don't think she'll let you watch. But have Olaf at it all the same.

Anyway, after all this time, I've finally made a "Constantly Changing" strip (heh), though I suspect I'll not make any more.

No confections were named in the making of this strip. And all characters remain the same.

Original strip: 2001-11-28.
