Because Family Guy ate my brain and I can never pull myself away from it permanently (and believe me, I have tried several times), I've spent the last couple of years trying to do a SRoMG with Pouncy, the evil cat from the episode "Family Cat". Unfortunately, the two humans you could call her "owner" are Meg and Quagmire, two characters who are pretty much impossible to keep PG (especially in the same scene). I finally settled on a quick "switcheroo" strip where you can fill in the blanks on what poor Garfield has witnessed. As for how this switch happened? Either Pouncy has powers we don't know about, or maybe it's just the result of Stewie and Brian messing around with the time machine yet again. Or who cares? Why waste your time worrying how a Family Guy joke works? Anyway, all hail Pouncy.

Also, I apologize for using the blender strip but I was looking for the quickest "dumb Jon" visual shorthand and I guess I'm too impatient to be more original.

Original strips: 2003-07-13, 2008-04-04, 2008-04-26.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

{Pouncy the cat sits smugly on the Arbuckle household table, looking upon Jon with the ol' blender on his face and Odie looking his usual stupid self}
Jon: I glued a blender to my face
Pouncy: Enslaving these idiots will be just TOO easy
Text: MEANWHILE...
{Garfield is unfortunately in the household of one Glenn Quagmire, who is in the background being as Quagmire as this site will allow. Garfield is running like the wind}
Garfield: Oh no! I’m stuck in another cartoon with an even creepier owner than Jon! GET ME OUT OF HEEEEERE!
