Explanation[edit | edit source]

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

This comic was the idea of Colin Foster, who contributed the graphical layout. His idea was to run an Exquisite Corpse using Garfield panels.

After assembling the nine panels from various Garfield strips and removing the dialogue, Colin handed the image over to us. We asked for nine volunteers to write the dialogue, one panel each, in sequence. Each writer (except the first) only got to see the panel they were to fill in and the one immediately before it.

Not only did it work reasonably well, we've set a record for most authors on a single strip.

Original strips: 2000-06-01, 2000-06-02, 2000-06-03.
