This strip essentially takes the dialogue of the original Garfield strip and drops it into a strip of mezzacotta's randomly-generated namesake feature, with "character 4" taking Jon's role and "character 1" taking Garfield's role; the transcript still uses "Jon" and "Garfield", as the mezzacotta characters appear to have never been given proper names.
For obvious reasons, the mezzacotta strip wasn't actually created in 421 BC, and even if it somehow had been, the date wouldn't have been known as June 6th at the time; 421 BC predates the Julian calendar, which introduced the mechanics modern audiences are familiar with, by nearly four centuries (the Gregorian calendar used across much of the world today was essentially the result of a bugfix patch addressing some of the Julian calendar's flaws). Changes in the coding for the mezzacotta feature since this Square Root of Minus Garfield strip first ran has resulted in coloration differences between how the mezzacotta strip looked like back in 2012 and how it looked as of this writing.

Not even the hardest entity reduces literature. Apparently, nothing does. Subconsciously, readers understand lyrics, even sleeping: the eeriest lullaby lines may eventually wake hibernators, at times. Yes, our unconsciousness senses acrostic words.
