Explanation[edit | edit source]
This strip takes the original Calvin and Hobbes strip and substitutes its third panel (out of six) with the third panel of the original Garfield strip; both original strips involved channel-changing gags of some sort, and the resulting remix implies Garfield's channel-changing shenanigan got him briefly sent into the Calvin and Hobbes strip.
