Explanation[edit | edit source]

This was a story of a comic where Garfield uses a snowball to roll down the hill, as he runs down the hill than the snowball, hitting Jon. Here's another story where Garfield's plan backfires. Made using different coloured font.

This story was inspired by 44: Garfield Retold, and so on. Also from 2666: Lasagnas And Litterboxes Revisited.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

{The image is composed entirely of different coloured text}
Black: You look over the hill, the residence carpeted in thick snow.
Blue: I ball up some snow, and roll it down the hill.
Black: It begins rolling, gaining some size, then more, becoming your size quickly.
Blue: I chase after it.
Black: It becomes very large and soon it threatens to crush you.
Blue: I run quickly to the residence's door and ring the bell.
{a horizontal line to indicate a break}
Black: You hear the bell on your door ring.
Green: I open the door and look around.
Black: You do not see anyone, but after a second of casual looking you spot a large snowball hurling towards you.
Black: It misses you, instead hitting the side of the house right beside the door.
Blue: Wait, that was where I was standing.
Black: I know. The snowball hits you before you can react, burying you in snow in an instant.
Green: ...
Black: Well?
Green: ...*snicker*
Blue: I hate you.

Having found two completely different edits based on the same strip in the archives, I had the idea to combine the concepts. I think they mesh together fairly well.

Original strip: 1991-02-10

Original Square Root of Minus Garfields: 1791: Miscalculation, 2666: Lasagnas & Litterboxes Revisited, I considered working on 695: Garfield vs. Garfield as well, but I decided never to outdo myself.
