Explanation[edit | edit source]

This strip takes the idea of three particular Irregular Webcomic! strips about there being a sizable number of webcomics out there and drops it into a Garfield strip that originally invoked the The Internet is for Cats trope, implying that the Internet's primary purpose is for webcomics as opposed to cat videos or pornography. The strip's title is also a play on the title of Irregular Webcomic!.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

I saw today's comic (at the time of submission) and immediately thought of Irregular Webcomic! #1, #1129 and #3182. So I thought I'd do an Irregularfield 4-except-not/callback.

Original strip: 2016-10-24.

Transcript[edit | edit source]
