483: Imaginary Garfield: Humouring
Imaginary Garfield: Humouring |
Made by: Richard L. Dodson |
Explanation[edit | edit source]
Previously in the "Imaginary Garfield" series, Jon had been alone with his imaginary cat, but now, he brings his friend Lyman into it. In the original, Lyman's "Sad", applied to Garfield's appearance in his sweater, was spoken, but here, his mouth is erased and his speech balloon exchanged for a thought balloon, as it's directed at Jon's insistence upon imagining he has a cat.
The author asks if it's good or bad when your friends do this; is it good that they're willing, or bad that they see indulging your fantasies as the only way to get through a visit with you?
The author writes:[edit | edit source]
Is it a good thing or a bad thing when your friends humour you?
This is another in the series of "Imaginary Garfield", in which Jon just imagines that he lives with a cat.
